Maps of the neighbourhood, maps of imagination, maps of flight and fancy.
Maps can describe a neighbourhood, its history, its people and the imagination of the map’s maker

Pat is in the studio

This panel depicts a historical tram ticket that travelled on Fraser street.
Here the images tells the story of exchange: in the early 1900's fishermen would exchange fish caught in the Fraser River for fresh vegetable raised on the sunny slopes in South Vancouver.

In early September, Pat entered the studio at the Moberly Arts & Cultural centre with the community art work created and collected over the past 5 months. She is transposing the work onto birch plywood through projection and paint. These panels will be part of the final artwork at the Sunset Community Centre, Sunset Rink and The Moberly Arts & Cultural Centre
